Depending on autoconf 2.69 - i'm not sure it's a good idea, it's pretty recent and might not be present in all oses. Using it to generate the configure hell in the release tarball - why not, if it doesnt break other configurations. With autohell, you never know... In the meantime, re-running autoconf as stated in the downstream bug is the way to go if you cant live without features provided by the very latest..

Should be fixed in 1.0.1, which i've generated with autoconf 2.69. Reopen otherwise.
