Originally filed downstream, please see below: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=910384 Description of problem: Using Alt+Screen print should capture the active window, currently it does nothing. Normal screenprint functions as you'd expect. I believe this quit working after my upgrade from F17 to F18 via fedup. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F18x64 XFCE all updates as of today. Add xfce4-screenshooter -f for PrintScreen in xfce4-keyboard-settings -> Applications Shortcuts to capture the entire screen To capture the active window, add xfce4-screenshooter -w to Alt+PrintScreen in the same place. I think it's a distro's work. For example, Xubuntu's default settings do exactly that, if I recall correctly.
Interesting, when I opened xfce4-keyboard-settings xfce4-screenshooter -w was mapped to <Alt> Print, when I re-mapped it to Alt + Printscreen it changed it to Sys_Req, which now works?
Created attachment 4913 Alt+Printscreen works with this entry?
This is a duplicate of bug #7897, fixed in the git master branches of libxfce4ui and xfce4-settings. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 7897 ***
