I assume you're using 0.3.x, because we dropped the stream-properties-plugin from Parole in 0.4.0 and replaced it with the audiobox-widget. If you see any translation-problems with the version from git master please let us know!

I attach a screenshot. I use Parole compiled from git yesterday.

Did you uninstall parole prior to using make install?  I've seen the old plugins stay unless I cleared out the old installation beforehand.

I've uninstalled Parole shipped with xubuntu, uninstalled my git version end deleted any files related to parole. Then I've reinstalled it from git and now, as you said, there is no more a properties tab. Thanks for the assistence.
