Changing workspace amount by holding mouse on "up" button causes 100% CPU usage, and the workspace amount will constantly change up and down. This happened on my netbook recently.
A workaround: killall xfdesktop.

Distro: Xubuntu 12.10 amd64

Does this still happen and can you try troubleshooing with strace if it
still does?
