A default application "Text editor" is assigned to a mime type. I click on the combo box to show the list of available applications. The first application on the list is "Emacs", which I want to choose. After clicking on "Emacs", the combo box still shows "Text editor" (default). Workaround: Click on the combo box and select another application (e.g. "Text editor"). The combo box now shows "Text editor" (user set). Click on the combo box again and select "Emacs". The combo box now shows "Emacs" (user set).
I am not able to reproduce with 4.11.3. Can you try to reproduce this issue?
Neither can I. Works fine here on 4.11.3.
