Items are left out if they exactly match the Exec line in a .desktop file.
I would think this behavior is surpinsing and should be changed, no? Or then, could we add something like "All applications and commands history" in the expanded mode?

I changed this behavior because some .desktop files contain NoDisplay=true, in my case gtk3-icon-browser.
