The current settings managers does not allow setting the delay. This results in syndaemon running as: syndaemon -i 2.0 -K -R. I would like a setting of -i 1.0, but there is no way to configure this.

Without having had a closer look at whether the patch is working, I second the feature-request. The standard-timeout doesn't work in many situations.
Applied patch with some small modifications in 1e5662d.
