Im currently using the "xfce-4.6" appearance setting, on which the title bar of every window is light blue. However when I start X, it is a a totally different colour... If i go into the appearance settings and change to another theme and then back to 4.6, the proper colour is displayed. Please refer to these screenshots: http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn281/braddo82/beforescreenshot.png http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn281/braddo82/afterscreenshot.png Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist. Regards
It's a settings manager issue.
We are about to release Xfce 4.10, 4.6 is over 3 years old. Hoever you can check if not 2 settings daemons are running (Xfce uses xfsettingsd, but it is possible gnome-settings-daemon is running as well if you have enabled GNOME compatibility in xfce4-session).
Apologies Olivier. Nick, please note that I am using xfce 4.10, xfce-4.6 is simply the name of the appearances theme I wish to use. gnome-settings-daemon is not running.
Ok, sorry, misread that. Could you export XFSETTINGSD_DEBUG=1 before starting Xfce and attach the output of xfsettingsd?
