When I installed Xubuntu 11.10 64-bit I chose automatic login on startup. Problem is I always get automatically logged out once, a while after starting the computer. It seems to be happening when enter is pressed eg after I typed in a web url or posted a message on facebook.
This is very likely to be an Xserver crash. If it happens when you use your Web browser, you should report a bug against it.
