Hi everyone, this is my first bug report for Xfce, and I apologise, if it should turn out, that the problem is not related to Thunar-volman, but as one has to select one category, I chose this one as my best first guess. I case, I am wrong, please let me know and point me to the correct one. Here's my bug report. I just noticed, that the dialog that pops up, when I connect an encrypted removable medium, such as an USB hard disk, is in English, regardless of language settings (German in my case). Would be nice to see localisation completed in a future version, but it is, of course, a really minor snag and only cosmetic in nature. Developers might just put it on their to-do list in order not to forget it, but with very low priority. ;) Kind regards Alex
Could you give a little bit more information about your setup? (Xfce version etc.)
System is Slackware64-13.37 stable with Xfce 4.6.2 plus some modules/plugins from http://slackbuilds.org, such as the Xfce volume daemon (xfce4-volumed-0.1.13-x86_64-1_SBo). Also, I use the Xfce notify daemon: xfce4-notifyd-0.1.1-x86_64-1. Please let me know, what information you may need in addition to the above. Kind regards Alex
So the component seems right, though I'm not sure it'll see any update. LUKS passphrase is handled by gio in future version (so this code is gone). crypto messages seems indeed missing from http://git.xfce.org/xfce/thunar-volman/tree/po/de.po?id=thunar-volman-0.3.80 so I guess they were never translated. I can't mark the bug as confirmed, but anyway it's fixed in later versions (Xfce 4.8).
That's good enough, then. No need to fix it for an old version, of course. I guess there'll be a translation in a future version, no matter of the technology on which it is based, hoping that there are not too many Gnomes creeping into Xfce... ;) Thanks for taking the time to investigate this. As for my own part, you might as well close the bug. Best regards, Alex
