I have Xubuntu 11.10. After suspending the computer

 - the desktop background becomes black
 - right-click menu item "Change background image" stops working
 - the menu also has different style. I have MurrinaCrystalHuman appearance (orange) and Sassandra decorations. The menu looks more like GTK apps, with dark-blue menu highlight.

Sounds like xfsettingsd crashed and possibly xfdesktop. It usually means a hardware problem with suspend. Does this still happen?
