xfprint handles standard BSD lpr, but does not handle LPRng print queues. It may be difficult to handle LPRng print queues because sometimes, one lpq output can contain multiple queues (ie. master/slave queues). However, even standard regular LPRng print queues display nothing when the BSD back-end is used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Is this still a valid request? I heard somewhere that Xfprint might become obsolete now that GTK printer support is growing mature...
Whoops... I've accidentally closed the bug...
Hi, is there some news about this? A debian user reported problems to print using lprng: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=471117 Problem may have to do with the location of printcap file, if that can help? Cheers,
