The way the status tooltip works is, honestly, completely broken. The name of the device is inserted into the status string unmodified. For example in German, note the capitcal E depending on gender: Your %s is charging → Ihr %s wird geladen → IhrE Maus wird geladen / Ihr Telefon wird geladen Same problem in Spanish, different article: LA batería se está cargando / EL ratón se está cargando.
This has been fixed with the replacement of the trayicon by the panel-plugin. We now simply show a string that describes the status with one word ("Charging" etc), so this shouldn't be a problem anymore
