Hey, a Debian user reported and investigated an issue with what wavelan plugin is announcing for link quality. Downstream bug is at http://bugs.debian.org/527603 and basically it /seems/ that the quality is passed through a log scale while it shouldn't. I'm not sure what the original intent was and I'm reluctant in breaking it for other people in case it's driver specific, so I'm opening a bug here. Regards,
*** Bug 9038 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I'm not really skilled in debugging wi_linux.c since i dont have a linux system here, but if the log() is wrong on all drivers i can remove it. Provide me evidences and testcases on a variety of HW ::)
Mass-reassign all bugs from florian@ to goodies-dev@, thanks for the maintenance work! (and sorry for the bugmail spam..)
