When ever I click on the 'lock' button, to lock the screen, nothing happens...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place hand on mouse
2. Place mouse cursor over the 'Lock' button
3. Click w/left button

Actual Results:
nothing, nothing at all...

Expected Results:
It would bring up xscreensaver and lock the screen

Try running xflock4 from a terminal and see what happens. I'm not sure but you
probably need to have the xscreensaver daemon running.

That did the trick. I ran xflock4 and realized I was missing libttf.so.2...
Even though info on the net states that its supplied by Freetype2 thats
actually not the case. I found out through trial and error that it was actually
Freetype1 that contained the required lib.

After working that out, I ran xflock4 again and it ran with one small problem.
The screensaver would come up but it didn't have dialogue box and wouldn't
accept a password.

Reading some of the error msgs, in the xterm window, I realized I needed to
recompile xfce-utils-4.2.0 [to play it safe] and setuid 4755 xscreensaver...
NOW it works like a charm, without a hitch.. Thank you...
