Can you try the git version ? i made some modifications yesterday which should solve the issue.
The reporter needs more information to try the git version. Where is it located? What is the procedure to install from git?

Created attachment 3798 Stacktrace from crash with release 1.0.10 This is still crashing in the latest release. There is a duplicate filed on Ubuntu Launchpad for it. I am attaching the stacktrace from that crash, which seems more complete. http://pad.lv/813454 is the duplicate bug.
Could you check whether it still crashes after applying the following patch: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=3912&action=diff ?
Yeah, latest traces show that it's the same bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 7851 ***
