Windows that change their contents (like nautilus 'connect to server' dialog or gthumb's "import photos" dialog) are not being properly updated on screen when compositor is activated. The window displays the new widgets over the old contents of the window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open nautilus 2. open file/connect to server 3. change the "service type" from ftp to ssh and then back to ftp Actual Results: the buttons apear over a non-existent label 'name of the new connection'. Shading and unshading makes the screen be properly updated it seems to be a problem of windows add or remove widgets dinamically.
