The panel doesn't hint at no time. If i use 0% on the leaved-slider, it is invisible, but i can't use applications in this area, because everytime I touch with the pointer to this area the slider is already in the foreground.
After removin the hole "Panel 1" and adding a new one it works correctly (Shit, I have to do all the settings again). But I have isolate the problem: The problem occours, if I add the panel-plugin "Session-Menu" to the the panel. (/src/xfce4-session-4.7.2/panel-plugin/xfsm-logout-plugin***)
Removing the "Session-Menu" from the panel doesn't repair it. I have to delete the whole panel and create a new one (like described in my first post)
What exactly are you saying? You can't use the area of the hidden panel to place other windows? Seems all very unrelated to the Session-Menu...
> You can't use the area of the hidden panel to place other windows? No - I can't use this room for anything, because the panel IS THERE. If a aplication is there, I can see it, because my panel has visibly=10% but I can't touch it with the mouse-pointer because the panel is everytime in the foreground. > Seems all very unrelated to the Session-Menu... I have reproduced it a few seconds ago: If I add the Sesson-Menu (the item, which prints the User-Name on the panel), the panel-hiding doesn't work.

You can disable struts, see bug #7028, so windows can use the space behind the window, but clicking won't work since the panel is still above the other windows, only autohide works in this case. Nothing else we can do to avoid that. > > Seems all very unrelated to the Session-Menu... > I have reproduced it a few seconds ago: If I add the Sesson-Menu (the item, > which prints the User-Name on the panel), the panel-hiding doesn't work. A indeed, fixed in xfce4-session rev 52ae1a7.
