Sinced 4.8 git, my usb data stick isn't mounted automatically on /media/disk, before it was always working. The stick blinks, but there is also no .hal-tab (or so) file.
The "mount removable drives when hotplugged" and "mount removable media when inserted" are enabled.
Do you have the latest version of thunar-volman and enabled it both thunar and automounting in the volman preferences?

(In reply to comment #2) > Do you have the latest version of thunar-volman and enabled it both thunar and > automounting in the volman preferences? Not before you asked. Now, it does not mount automatically (before it mounted in krusader to media/disk). Now when I open thunar, 8,0 GB Filesystem. If I press on the item in thunar, it mounts not to /media/disk, but to /media/5d6e3e20-6dac-44e3-a2f9-374b104363b4. And it is not possible to unmount. When I try it, it says: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.NotMountedByHal: Device to unmount is not in /media/.hal-mtab so it is not mounted by HAL and over the systray, there is Device error Could not unmount the following device: 7,5 Gib Removable Media One or more files on this device are opten within an application.
Hmm, it is really a problem both: a) with self compiled xfce 4.8 b) with the current deb packages from xfce for Ubuntu Natty Narwal
