I just (8pm, EST, 16th Jan) pulled xfprint cvs in order to get the fix to the stdin bug. When the file subsystem is picked in the mcs manager dialog, I get these errors when running xfprint4 ** (xfprint4:2792): WARNING **: printing_system_get_printer_state_impl symbol not found ** ERROR **: Unable to load printing system module file_plugin.so aborting... This problem does not occur with CUPS selected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. pull and build xfprint cvs 2. Select file as the printing system 3. run xfprint4 All the rest of the system is 4.2.0 compiled with os-cillation installer, Slackware current, no BSD printing components installed
i've ripped out the FILE target in CVS HEAD and added the file destination as a alternative choice in the print dialog (as asked on the mailing-list). What is happening here is that your system has still the former FILE plugin installed and as Xfprint '4.3.0' requires new functionnalities implemented in the plugin it cannot load it.
