When I click in a thunar window, with the right mouse button, the aplication simple shutdown. I run dmesg and I see this output: Thunar[2298]: segfault at 7f416883eddc ip 00007f4171706c86 sp 00007fff20f4fd98 error 4 in libc-2.11.1.so[7f4171686000+16b000] I click always in a blank spot so I can select Open Terminal Here.
I face same problem as well. I click on the left menu to go some place and it SEGFAULTs. I left-click on a file to open with something, it SEGFAUST. Thunar[1644]: segfault at 7f429c008ddc ip 0000003d3ca80c86 sp 00007fff37ead478 error 4 in libc-2.11.1.so[3d3ca00000+16b000]
Hello, It would be great if you could confirm this bug with Thunar 1.2.0. In all cases, a backtrace is needed to solve a crash like this. Please provide one using gdb. Cheers, Jérôme

Seems like bug appears only whtn thunar-vcs-plugin…
no. It falls even without vcs plugin
And a backtrace without vcs plugin?
(In reply to comment #7) > And a backtrace without vcs plugin? I'll do.
(In reply to comment #7) > And a backtrace without vcs plugin? ok. still can't get thunar fail without cvs plugin. seems like it's a cvs plugin's bug. suppose bug might be closed. If I got thunar fail I'll re-open it.
I can confirm this bug with Thunar 1.4.0 in combination with the cvs-plugin. When Thunar has been running for a while and the right mouse button is pressed, it crashes. No crashes without the plugin.
Hi, I am experiencing Thunar crash with right mouse button in version 1.6.0, 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 on Ubuntu 12.10 (i386). I have not instaled thunar-vcs-plugin! I have instaled these packages: libthunarx-2-0 (1.4.0), thunar-data (1.4.0), thunar-media-tags-plugin (0.2.0), thunar-volman (0.8.0) and thunar-archive-plugin (0.3.0). gdb: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0xaa84ea10 in ??
