On XFCE 4.6.1 and latter: /usr/libexec/thunar-volman-settings ('Removable Drives and Media' desktop entry) doesn't save any *Command string in the ~/.config/Thunar/volmanrc file. When the program is closed, entries like AutoburnDataCommand=xfburn AutoburnAudioCommand=xfburn are erased in that file. When I try to setup manually ~/.config/Thunar/volmanrc, writing something like AutoplayAudioCdCommand=xine cdda:// something even more awkward happens: up to 6 (!) instances of xine are launched when I put an audio CD in my disc tray.
Hi, I could not reproduce the first issue reported. It appears thunar-volman-settings uses libxfconf nowadays and I could successfully save settings via the GUI. I cannot try reproducing part #2 as I don't have a CD drive. If noone can reproduce it, this report should be closed as it is most likely fixed.
Closing.
