It would be lovely to be able to set the second mouse button to preform different tasks than the default menu when clicking the decorations. Like horizontal maximizing, lowering or other function of choise.
Seconded. It seems kind of arbitrary that we can have keyboard shortcuts for all sorts of window manipulation, but the actions associated to left/middle/right/double click on the title bar are hard-coded (middle click) and limited (double click). (I personally would like to map double click to "maximise vertically".)

You can also customize the double click action on the title bar through xfwm4-settings.
PS: middle click on the title bar itself will send the window to the background.
