Created attachment 2762 backtrace of the crash Forwarded from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=552899 Comment: No idea what I actually did to crash the plugin Attached file: backtrace cmdline: /usr/libexec/xfce4/panel-plugins/xfce4-sensors-plugin socket_id 20971567 name xfce4-sensors-plugin id 12587153960 display_name Sensor-Plugin size 28 screen_position 2 component: xfce4-sensors-plugin executable: /usr/libexec/xfce4/panel-plugins/xfce4-sensors-plugin kernel: 2.6.31.9-174.fc12.x86_64 package: xfce4-sensors-plugin-0.10.99.6-5.fc12 rating: 4 reason: Process was terminated by signal 11 (Segmentation fault)
According to ABRT, our autmatic bug reporting tool I get this crash quite frequently, but I never notice it. I guess the crash happens when the panel is shutdown on logout.
Created attachment 2892 another backtrace, slightly different
Created attachment 2893 and another one
Created attachment 2895 yet another backtrace

Copying over relevant from bug 6541 comment 1: How to reproduce: 1. Place xfce4-sensors-plugin onto a panel. 2. execute "killall xfce4-panel" 3. crash report
I am deeply sorry, I cannot reproduce this bug (no longer since the uninitialized variables are initialized properly?)
