Whenever I try to suspend or hibernate through the xfce4 session manager (from button or by running xfce4-session-logout command) I get:

Suspend and Hibernate are only supported through HAL, which is unavailable

But it works seamlessy by using 'pm-suspend' or 'pm-hibernate'. I suspect it's due to the recent HAL update.

Can you still reproduce this bug with Xfce 4.8? The code related to this changed a lot during the 4.8 cycle and a fair number of bugs were fixed at the same time. Thanks in advance.
