Description s.v.savenko 2009-10-31 21:48:09 CET
1. I am lazy to click the triangle with a mouse to go into the expandable menu item, instead I am used to press -> to do that and <- to jump up a level. In xfce this pretty standard option seems missing...
2. menus is xfce are not keyboard friendly, for example opening xfce4-popup-menu I would like to type s t go to settings, or sy to jump to system item and so on.

Unless you're talking about one specific menu that behaves differently than others, this is entirely related to GTK+, not Xfce. We simply use the GTK+ menu classes which provide keyboard navigation with the arrow keys. If it doesn't work for you, something (outside Xfce) is wrong with your setup.

Yes, maybe this can be improved. I'm reassigning this to Brian who maintains xfdesktop, the application that ships the desktop menu.
