Since I have upgraded my OS from Xubuntu 9.04 to 9.10, it seems that I cannot open folders on other computers in my local network. It was no problem at all in 9.04, but after the upgrade I can only log in to the folder, and a symbol appears for it in the main window. But nothing happens when I try to open it.
Created attachment 2645 screen shot of gigolo This is how far you get, but not further.
I doubt this is a bug in Gigolo, rather in the GVfs setup done by Ubuntu 9.10. If you try to open a folder in Gigolo, it means that Gigolo executes the command for the file manager which is set in the preferences dialog. This command is "gvfs-open" by default. You can run Gigolo from a terminal emulation program like this: gigolo --verbose to get any warnings/debug messages which could help. Still, this is very likely not a Gigolo bug but rather one in your distribution's setup.
