In the search dialog and in the search and replace dialog mousepad should be
available to fill the search textbox with a selected text.

This feature is very handy.
I've updated the patch to the current master code base and I did some small improvements.

Very nice! I just tested the patch and it does what it promises to do.
So I hope that this will get a review (and consequently a merge) soon!
