Created attachment 2627 Hover info Hi again I'd like to suggest a new feature for the Orage clock plugin. I think it would be great if there was a way to show the info from the "event-list" and "to-dos" from the plugin. What I mean is that for example hovering over the plugin could show these lists in a notificacion window as audacious (or other programs) do (see attached image). This way you have quick access to the info you need and take less resources since you are no opening the whole program (which is light anyway!) Hopefully I have explained it in a clear way, but if not just ask for clarification. Cheers
Ooh, and hopufully the info shown when hovering would be the same as in the enhancemets 5847 and 5848
Oooh and just date/time and title, no flags or anything extra, just something short, neat and clear for this.
The main calendar is only one click away and it has this info. Not sure it is worth copying it to the clock plugin.

Hi Juha, yes I admit getting the info is not difficult. The main advantage is that if you have Orage open you have to minimize all the other windows to see orage, if it's not open, at least in my case, is because I like to keep opened windows to the minimum, so if I open it I'll probably have to close it again once I've seen what I needed. With the hover info I just move the bar to the panel, see what I need to see and that's it. But do go and ask others see what they think, I'm not starting a war over this!!
Sorry, in the last paragraph I mean "With the hover info I just move the _mouse_ to the panel..."
If Orage is already visible, but below the other windows, you can also click once to get it invisible and then click again to get it visible. (If it was invisible in the beginning, one click is enough.) So max two clicks shoudl make it visible always. Hover data would be faster and easier, I agree, but two clicks is not that bad.
> Hover data would be faster and easier, I agree, but two clicks is not that bad. So just to be sure, this is not going to be implemented then?
Yes, this would need quite a lot of work. Either the plugin should start reading the Orage files directly and uplicate the functionality of Orage or it should start communicating with Orage and get the data there. Both are not trivial and would also increase the sizes of these programs. So the work needed is too much compared to the gain as there are rather good ways to see it. Denied.
