Using suse 9.2, XFCE 4.2RC1 and KDE 3.3, whenever a KDE session is started after an XFCE session, the kicker launchers except kmenu and all kmenu program entries are missing, presumably deleted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start XFCE4.2rc1 session 2. use any KDE/Qt based program 3. End XFCE session and open KDE session Actual Results: Kicker launchers and kmenu entries missing Expected Results: Kicker launchers and kmenu settings still as configured Deleting $HOME/.kde and recovering from default files in /etc/skel is the only way to make KDE usable again
How did you install Xfce? Using RPMs, from source or using the installer?
I used the graphical installers from os-cillation
Can you please try again with the experimental RC2 installer from ftp://os-cillation.com/installers/experimental/xfce4-4.2RC2-installer.bin, the new installer should fix the problem.
