Created attachment 2482 100% load core from xfce4-power-manager When your laptop to change brightness (Fn-F7 or F8), one of the two cores running at 100%. He also appears artifact in the middle of the screen. On my laptop never change brightness did not work - mayby bad kernel support - which is okay, but in earlier versions xfce4-power-manager I had no problems. Laptop Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V3505,Archlinux 64-bit, chipset and video i945GM, xfce 4.6.1 and xfce4-power-manager 0.8.2.

Please try out the latest revision r7877 if you can, it should have a fix for this.

new cairo OSD works good, no problem with load core(s), no artifact in middle screen. Good works! Thanks!

You could report a bug for this to your distro provider.
