I am just a user of computers, not a scientist on it, so I don't understand most words included in this page and I don't have to do it. I just have a problem, when I decided to change into linux. After a couple of months, my file manager (thunar) just closes immediately after opening. In short, I cannot use it
Can you try running it from the Terminal like this? Thunar -q; Thunar Does it print any useful output? If the output is something like "aborting..." or "segmentation fault", can you post the output of the following commands? Thunar -q; gdb thunar gdb> run ... this will execute Thunar and once it exits, you can do this: gdb> bt
Old bug, no response. Closing
