./configure: line 17356: syntax error near unexpected token `NO_STRICT_ALIASING_CFLAGS,'
./configure: line 17356: `XDT_SUPPORTED_FLAGS(NO_STRICT_ALIASING_CFLAGS, -fno-strict-aliasing)'

seems like the XDT_SUPPORTED_FLAGS(NO_STRICT_ALIASING_CFLAGS, -fno-strict-aliasing) line
in configure.in.in isn't processed.

Your xfce4-dev-tools is too old.
