dpkg -l | grep clipman
ii xfce4-clipman-plugin 2:1.0.1-1
dpkg -l | grep openoffice.org
ii openoffice.org 1:3.1.0-5

This issue has been bugging my productivity on an alarming high level:

When I want to copy and paste in OpenOffice.org with special elements like tables or draw elements from a single OOo.org document or to an other OOo.org document. It simplifies the paste making it either a just plain text or bitmaps.

When I close the xfce4-clipman-plugin and restart all OOo.org documents the copying and pasting of special elements works fine.

What is going on here, how can I use the xfce4-clipman-plugin without losing important OpenOffice.org functionality?

Thanks in advance,

Jelle de Jong

The plugin no more takes ownership.

I guess this means the bug was validated, reproduced, and that you made a patch for it? Thanks for the quick fix really great! :-)

Best regards,

Jelle

PS. I can image some people would like so see a simple patch so they can slowly learn how the problems connect with the code.

Sort of, the fix was in a few days after the 1.0.1 release after I realized that text/html is a mistake as it is very often mixed with stuff other than html.

I never came to push a new release but that's done, 1.0.2 is a bugfix release.
