Greetings. It seems changes made via the Display settings are not persistent past the current login. If you make changes they take effect just fine, but logging out and back on you go back to default and have to make those changes again. it does appear to be saving the info, but nothing is restoring it on login? Perhaps that should be an option? (Apply / Save for future logins / cancel) Happy to provide more info or details. Thanks.
What version are you using?
(In reply to comment #1) > What version are you using? The following version: $ rpm -q xfce4-settings xfce4-settings-4.6.1-1.fc11.x86_64 $ Paul
After Rex's comment, I installed system-config-display, which was not installed, and I configured my display with it. This procedure eliminated the reported problem. Now, I have everything working as expected. I do not know why system-config-display was not installed by default. Paul
system-config-display is not part of Xfce, so the Xfce display settings should still have worked, even without system-config-display.

AFAIK this is fixed in 4.6.3. We closed our bug and didn't receive any new bug reports.
Fixed in git master.
