personally i really liked the 0.3 version of this plugin, basically for two things:

1. it uses the complete panel height
2. (and more important): it didn't have the disturbing bars.

now, i can see how someone might find them attractive, but i don't and i certainly don't find them very useful (as cpu-usage changes too rapidly in every-day use to be able to see anything from the bars). an option to deactivate them would be a nice feature.
"

Thanks.

i'd like this feature to be implemented for the sake of simplicity as well.

both issues listed here have been solved:

1) In the "Advanced" tab of properties, the "show border" option allows to switch between using all space available, and keeping borders around the plugin. Uncheck to get the behavior requested here.

2) in the "Advanced" tab of properties, uncheck "show current usage bars" to get the behavior requested here.
