xfce-power-manager 0.8.0RC2 got so many issue of reliability. I resort to use xfce default battery monitor. 1. does not always hibernate when set action hibernate when reached power critical level 2. still hibernates when AC is connected and critical level reached. Shouldnt hibernate when AC is on 3. inconsistent lcd brightness level when switching between AC and battery 4. brightness level onscreen indicator does not always show. 5. no user adjustable power level critical. 6. low level warning dont always show or display at wrong times.

This could be a problem of the backend, when the backend reports inconsistent value we don't show the indicator, but to make sure please attach here the output of lshal > output.txt > 5. no user adjustable power level critical. (In reply to comment #2) > Created an attachment (id=2375) [details] > output of lshal From the output there is nothing really wrong, but still, please run the following command when you are on AC power: lshal -m > output.txt while this command is running plug out your adapter and keep it for some time (~30 seconds), then again plug is the adapter. at the end play with your brightness key, then attach the output here please, i'm waiting for your feedback.
