Created attachment 2324 Top Of Example Folder Is Visibly Truncated Occurs after 1. Right-clicking any file/launcher desktop icon followed by a left- click on the same icon. 2. Right-clicking any file/launcher desktop icon followed by a right-click in an open area of the desktop. Either the top of the icon appears truncated, or the entire icon itself (though the text remains) disappears. Appears not to be a background issue as this issue occurs regardless of the type (image, solid), or background color chosen. See attached image for an example.
Created attachment 2439 Missing Icon I have a similar problem. If I move a desktop item around, the icon is missing until i move the mouse away from the dragged item. I also can confirm the right-click, left-click issue.
This is effectively the same as #4958. I've been working on the drawing code lately; after that's done these should be fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 4958 ***
