hi, it would be nice if xfce4-notifyd could display certain notifications (like audio-volume, brightness) in form of a bar, maybe (at least visually) the way notify-osd in ubuntu does it. (at least as far as i was able to find out this isn't possible yet.)
Ubuntu's notify-osd is a completely different project implementing a different specification.
hm, i see. but how does this argument tackle the feature request for a bar?
There's no way in the fd.o notifications spec to ask the notification daemon "draw me a bar."
