brian, when the user creates his own menu in ~/.config/xfce4/xfdesktop/, the panel menu plugin doesn't use it i understand it can be considered as a normal behaviour, but for the common user is a bit disconcerting
hmm, yeah... since the panel plugin has its menu file configurable, i think this is going to stay as-is.
