Even though I've remapped the F1/F2 keys keyboard shortcuts, they do not work when pressed. I was able to remap the 'switch Desktop' function to the F3-F8 keys (for desktops 3 through 8), but the F1 and F2 keys do not switch to desktops 1 and 2, respectively.

I'm using Xfce 4.4.2.1.
