A Debian user reported that when adding a directory in Xfmedia, it will only add the files ending with a lowercase extension. So adding a directory full of .OGG files will end with an empty playlist. It'd be nice if the add was case-insensitive. Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
That's actually a larger change than one might think, and will slow down large directory adds. As I'm sure you know, I don't really work on xfmedia right now, so I'd suggest the user just bite the bullet and rename his/her files. All-caps extensions are a relic of the DOS era anyway ^_~.

Yeah, agreed. Case insensitive stuff would be nice, but low priority :) Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
Created attachment 1830 Case insensitive add for folders This makes the “add” action works case-insensitively. Thanks for François Wendling who cooked the patch.
Xfmedia is unmaintained.
