Xffm detected a broken installation condition and is trying to adjust. The question here is how did your installation get broken? From the error messages, you probably have missing icons in your toolbar and main menu. I believe it is because you are installing xffm to a $prefix which does not match what was specified for the libxfce4util which is being loaded. This usually happens when you have parallel installs. If you have *any* libxfce4util in a path specified by the /etc/ld.so.conf file, then you should at least install the xffm/pixmaps directory to this prefix (./configure --prefix=xxx && cd pixmaps && make install). That should remove the warnings. (There might be other issues.) I'm sorry to say that parallel installs is not currently supported.
My initial assessment was incorrect. Apparently a directive was missing such that if you installed to a nonstandard --prefix, there would be some problems. This is now fixed. If you update libxfcegui4/xfce4-modules from cvs, the problem should be gone. Reopen bug if condition persists.
