The output video window wrongly set its aspect ratio: I'm using the latest rc6a xine lib (well that is probably a Xine lib bug) WM_NORMAL_HINTS(WM_SIZE_HINTS): program specified minimum size: 1 by 1 program specified minimum aspect ratio: 65536/-2147483648 program specified maximum aspect ratio: 65536/-2147483648 window gravity: NorthWest Resizing the output window leads to unpredictable results (tested with xfwm4, kwin and metacity)
does it happen all the time? a while ago i noticed that it occasionally does it if it can't get the frame dimensions at play time, but i thought i'd fixed it.
I've put the video on line so you have the test case: http://www.xfce.org/~olivier/misc/tortue_2_le_retour.wmv Please let me konw once you've retrieved it so I can remove the file.
got it, thanks; you can remove it. i'll give it a look tomorrow.
ok, i moved the aspect ratio setting to right _after_ playback starts, so it should definitely know the frame size at that point. at any rate, your .wmv file doesn't trigger the bug anymore (that i can see).
