The result was, all guis crashed and only a grey screen like default X was showing up. i did not can changed default font again via X and must done via getty. my system runs on a gentoo-x86_64 system and i use 4.5.x-svn checkouts for all xfce things. last checkout 24h. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select default windowmanager font to linux libertine Actual Results: all guis crashed and only a grey screen like default X was showing up and i did not can changed default font again via X and must done via getty. Expected Results: runs good :)
Humm, works fine here (svn trunk). Can you use the same font as the default UI font, does it work?
Tried with 4.4 branch and no problem whatsoever. Looks like a bug in pango: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233311
I think that we can close this now, the Gentoo bug has been fixed and there's no problem at all here.
