when burning multiple CDs I often forget to delete the title previously assigned since I hit 'clear composition'. It would be better if the 'clear' button would erase the title assigned. also, even nicer would be if the burn window would allow you to review and update the title just before burning (As a quick check). Quite often I burn 5-6 CDs in a row and forget to assign or check the title. Since neither clear removes the previous title and I don't see the title anymore when I hit 'burn composition' I get multiple mislabeled CDs. cheers -- Auke
Created attachment 1658 Patch to set composition name to default when clearing. This patch solves the bug for me.
I think there is a middle ground here. The clear button should reset the composition title and if the composition title is still the default one just before burning the user should be asked if this is really what he wants.

If that's what we want, then Jérôme's patch should work because the "review" of the title is already implemented when it is still set to the default. Another solution would be that clear does not reset the title, like it does now, but once the composition has been burned, and will be burned again, it would review the title in the burning dialog if it is the same as for the previous burn. So let me take a quick survey, who expects "clear" to reset the title, and who doesn't?
For me, clear should put the composition in its default state, just as when creating a new composition, so the title should be set to the default value.
Ok, applied patch. Lets give this behavior a shot ;-). After all the button says "clear", not "remove all files". Fixed in rev. 4885.
