I'm unable to remove symlinks from the desktop in the expected way, ie, right-click Delete file or drag to trash-can.

Instead, i must open up a console and remove it by hand this way.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.touch file.out
2.ln -s file.out ~/Desktop
3.try to remove file.out symlink from the desktop by right-clicking on the file.

Actual Results:  
the file manipulation options are unavailable

Expected Results:  
file manipulation options would be available, and i could delete the symlink or rename it, it.
