And if the user had root access (which most do), they could continue enter the password and complete their task. This is similar to how Mac OS X does things I think. Dialog window pops up asking for root password 3. User is able to finish their task. I understand that you can enter Thunar from the super-user account, which would make this feature moot. But I don't always want to go into thunar as root, I'd like to continue as my normal user except for the times when I need to be root.
