User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12 Build Identifier: Currently, the installed documentation on an end-user's system links to "xffm.html"[1], which clearly no longer exists when installing Xfce 4.4. It should instead be replaced by a link to Thunar's documentation, which I've found here[2] but nowhere else. Installing Thunar does not seem to drop the appropriate documentation into the same /usr/share/xfce4/doc/C/ directory as that of all the other Xfce components. Note: I'd be happy to update the documentation for Thunar. I was partway into writing an xffm.xml replacement for Thunar before it was pointed out to me on IRC that such a doc exists...just not on an end-user's system. I'll see about providing some patches against the thunar manual[3] in the mean time. :) [1] http://svn.xfce.org/index.cgi/xfce/view/xfce-utils/trunk/doc/xfce4-user-guide/C/xfce4-user-guide.xml [2] http://thunar.xfce.org/documentation/C/ [3] http://svn.xfce.org/svn/xfce/thunar/trunk/docs/manual/C/Thunar.xml.in Reproducible: Always
I hereby make the request to have this block 4.6, as the documentation links in the shipped 4.4 files still refer to 4.2, and that's just darned old.
Created attachment 2138 Doc updates * Fix compilation with debug (AC_C_CONST breaks everything here). * Make index docs xhtml valid. * Convert fr doc to utf8 * Relative link to the thunar docs. Bit ugly but better then nothing...

This is fixed in git master branch.
