Hi, a Debian user reported that some mime types present in xfmedia.desktop are invalid (at least on a Debian system, but I'd guess it's quite generic?). The list is present at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=368293#5 Some of the mime types are easy to correct (just add or remove x-), so I'll attach a patch to this bug report. Thanks, -- Yves-Alexis

The mime type list is generated by xine-lib based on what file types it supports (at least on my system). If this is different for a typical Debian system, you should patch it in your own packages. If there are some mime types that are just wrong, it should be reported to xine (tho I admit I haven't updated the list in the desktop file in a very long time, so this may be fixed already).
